der erste teil war sehr gut, der zweite großartig und der dritte interessant. das lange utopia hingegen zumindest am anfang unfassbar langatmig und langweilig. vielleicht auch weil sich ein gewisser gewöhnungseffekt eingesetzt hat was die thematik angeht oder weil terry pratchett aufgrund seiner erkrankung damals nichtmehr wirklich in der lage war, dem finale des vierteilers seine ganz besondere und brilliante note aufzudrücken.
Ich habe schon die lange Erde gelesen und war davon fasziniert. Man muss Terry Pratchett einfach lieben für seine Fantasie und seinen Einfallsreichtum. kann ich gern weiterempfehlen.
Ein fantastisches Buch der Baxter / Pratchett-Reihe, ich erwarte sehnlichst den letzten Teil! Zum ersten Mal bleibt das Ende hier zum Teil offen, daher die Ungeduld...
Genau wie die vorherigen Teile sehnsüchtig erwartet und einfach genial. Ein Muss für echte Sciencefiction- Fans, vor allem wenn Terry Pratchett bereits ein Begriff ist.
ich habe das Buch geliehen bekommen und war schon während des Lesens enttäuscht, daß die Serie immer deutlicher den typischen vorhersehbaren Baxter Stil aufweist, den mir persönlich nicht gefällt.
Man erkennt Pratchett, man erkennt Baxter, man spürt deren Freude am Schreiben.Das zu lesen war ein einziger großer Spaß.
